Photographs stay on this device
Photo reading, EXIF, GPS matching, cropping and poster rendering happen in this browser. Original photographs are not uploaded and no account is required.
ABOUT THE ATLAS
Heritage Folio begins with a visit: one place, one sourced line and one new page in a personal cultural atlas.
Photo reading, EXIF, GPS matching, cropping and poster rendering happen in this browser. Original photographs are not uploaded and no account is required.
Names, categories, countries, regions, inscription years and reference coordinates come from UNESCO DataHub and are bundled as a complete snapshot. Browsing and search do not depend on a live network; official records and map tiles may connect externally.
Official UNESCO Chinese comes first. Where it is unavailable, an entry-specific project reference name is clearly marked as unofficial and the English original always remains visible.
Direct quotations, related poems, historical excerpts, legends and atlas notes are distinct, with author, work, source, original text and rights status.
Visit dates and private notes stay in this browser. Clearing browser data or changing devices may remove them; cloud sync is not provided at this stage.
Heritage Folio is not an official UNESCO product and does not represent any heritage management authority. Corrections remain welcome.
ANDROID BETA
The beta connects to the current online service and, after permission, can scan the device album for EXIF location and capture time. It also supports manual photo selection, nearby heritage matching and saving posters to the system gallery. Originals are not uploaded; app records stay local.
